Meet Matt
Born in Washington DC into a family of 13 kids, Matt learned early on how to get along with people.
“I’ve always specialized in customer care,” says Matt. “My 30-year journey in the service industry started as a bus boy and ended with me managing several 3-star and 4-star restaurants.
Matt knows all about overseas journeys and navigating foreign lands. I moved to Panama in 2012. My wife’s family are Panamanian and from the moment I first arrived I fell in love with the place.
One of the things that struck me first about the country is the energy, everything is growing. An in the 20 years since my first visit (I’ve been living here for 10 of those) Panama City has changed unbelievably. For instance, along with all the development the city has become a great food town. There are so many good restaurants and great chefs.

Meet David
Originally from New York, David has decades of experience providing customer care.
“Early on, I worked for American Express Platinum Travel and Coca-Cola’s travel division. One of the most fun experiences I had was helping manage Coca-Cola’s travel department during the Atlanta Summer Olympics in ’96.”
David later moved into account management roles in the telecommunications industry. But when COVID struck, he and his wife decided it was time for a change.
“We wanted something different. I’d lived all over the States, staying for a while in Phoenix and Los Angeles, before settling in Atlanta for three decades. That’s where I got married and where my four kids were born. Now I’m a grandpa five times over.
