One thought: A comment on potential investment opportunities; a note on expected time frame/risk. The investor, who is just starting, may need more information to realistically evaluate the proposal for him or her. They may not know how to ask the right questions.

I am saving to make one of those great investments.

Ronan says: Thanks for your feedback Gretchen. With any RETA report, I include a timeframe on potential returns. Investors certainly need to consider this when either undertaking due diligence on an investment, second home, or retirement purchase. For instance, if you’re planning to retire and move overseas within a year or two, then a pre-construction deal might not be for you. If you’re timeframe is longer, then it might prove the stronger option, as you’ll save money by buying pre-construction and it will be complete by the time you’re ready to move. Likewise, you should have a strong idea of your investment horizon before getting in on any idea.
