Yesterday I told you about the luxurious Cabo’s transformational event…specifically the $4 billion in investment in luxury new resorts. A big chunk of that $4 billion is earmarked for 20 luxury resorts, which are currently at various stages of construction.

Just last month, I got back from my first scouting trip in Placencia, Belize. I’ve been in this wonderful country before. But I hadn’t made the time to travel south to this small Caribbean peninsula.

This is my first visit to Placencia. And, I’m charmed. Placencia is a 16-mile-long spit of land that forms a peninsula in southern Belize. On the east side of the peninsula, you have white-sand beaches backed by swaying palm trees. Docks protrude into flat waters. Waters lap against these docks in afternoon breezes. On the west, you have the protected lagoon—a boater’s and nature-lover’s paradise.
Last month, I returned from a scouting trip to Northeast Brazil. I returned more bullish than ever—our opportunity there is only getting stronger. As you know, I’ve invested numerous times in Northeast Brazil—and I see more potential for members of our little group to do well there.
