Happy Holidays. And a big “thank you” for investing the time and money to be part of our little group. This is RETA’s third Christmas. Our numbers are growing and we are an increasingly active group. That’s good for everyone. You see, it gives me more leverage to negotiate member-only pricing and terms. And, to get developers to pick up some or all of the tab for members-only chill weekends and scouting trips.

Brazil is fast becoming the bread basket of the world—it’s the largest exporter of coffee, soy, orange juice, beef, chicken, sugar and ethanol. The cerrados, Brazil’s high plains, cover 500 million acres. The USDA has estimated that 400 million acres of this could be opened for crop production. The area yet to be opened for agricultural production is 25% larger that the total crop acreage of the U.S.
