It’s been a busy month for Real Estate Trend Alert. My team and I have been working hard behind the scenes, preparing for the end of the year, and lining up the deals that are coming down the track for 2018.

On December 9th, a small group of well-connected locals will gather for the “Friends and Family” launch of Tao Tulúm. It sounds like it could be fun…but we’ll never find out. None of us will be invited to that launch party.
This is the strongest lots deal on my beat right now. It’s in a country you might not expect: Costa Rica. And it’s in the Southern Zone, an up-and-coming region with enormous potential.

In the 1950s, having a computer in your company’s office was a sign that you were at the cutting edge, innovative, and wealthy. To lease a computer (not buy it outright), you could spend the equivalent of hundreds of thousands of dollars a month, adjusted for inflation.
